[Shotimes] Anyone Heard of a Sub Frame Bushing Recall?

Steve,

Good catch on that.  I was going to comment that that 
subframe recall is for the mounting in the body only, and 
also I think replaces the bolt, but NOT the bushing.

If the bushing is bad, they won't pay for it, but if you get 
the recall done you can probably talk them into putting in 
new bushings in place of the old ones, if you pay for the 
bushings.

I got the recall done on my '89 earlier this year after 
procrastinating about two years because of problems with 
this recall on my son's '89.

Non-rust belt cars can probably be covered if you ask to 
have it done, or if there is any evidence that the car has 
spent any time in the north/NE.
