I do, and I can tell you that it's not as much as people think. ;)

I wouldn't count on it. Not only does Ted utilize the "easy out" method of
adjusting the fuel mixture, but he usually errs towards the rich side as
well. Out of the box, I ran a pig-rich 11:1 A/F ratio across the board at
WOT while on the dyno in December '02 - this, on a stock ATX with nothing
more than an Amsoil air filter. Having seen with my own eyes the methods
that Ted uses to adjust the mixture, I now know why I ran rich.
As they always say, though, YMMV. ;)

I will agree with Steve on this point. Out of all the chip tuners out
there, Ted seems to do the best job of achieving maximum shift firmness
while remaing safe. Then again, for about $20 in parts and an
afternoon's-worth of work, one could acheive the same level of firmness by
fabbing and installing a pressure riser, too (instructions courtesy of Ben
Bentley):

In closing, I would like to state that this was message not intended as a
"Ted bashing" post, nor do I have anything against him. I simply wanted to
interject my $0.02 regarding the myths that surround his programming.

Do you know everything that a Ted. B. LPM does? Don't let the
naysayers (especially those that've never had an ATX/LPM combo) tell
you what the LPM is good for. Email Ted himself, and ask him exactly
what the LPM does.
After getting my LPM from Ted I had my A/F ratio checked and it was
fine. Am I just lucky or does Ted know what he's doing? I don't
know.
The shifts aren't "hard", they're firm. Big difference. The
Superchips module is known for hard shifts, not Ted's LPMs. Most
experts will agree that firm shifts are good for the transmission, not
the sloppy shifting that's programmed into the ATX SHO (especially the
'93 H3Z computer).
