I took some tires and wheels to Wal Mart once to get mounted and balanced.
They were direction winter tires on the directional slicers.  First time
they had two right and two wrong.  Second attempt was all four wrong.  I had
to show them the little arrows and makes sure they understood everything was
to be going the same way.  :)

Needless to say now when I go there they are very attentive to detail and do
a good job. The only other complaint I've had was their inability to remove
the Kumho 245/45/16s saying their machine couldn't break the bead.  They did
stop before damaging the wheel though so that was good.

I'd just as soon take my tires to Wal Mart for mounting and balancing at $54
a set than Sears at +$80 a set.  Same or better quality of work and a better
guarantee.
