Looks like to me that it was the front crank seal. That area is we with oil
and around the pump mating surfaces are dry. Pulled the Felpro seal off, and
I'm about to put a ford one on there. Gonna fire up the car without the
timing cover on there see if it is still leaking anywhere. To me that seems
like the only place there might be any "flow" of oil that might be under any
pressure or motion other than right at the front of the motor where the
outlet is to the galley. If so then I just found my leak and my car will be
happy tonight.

I didn't even look at her yesterday, too disenchanted after all that work of
a 3.2 swap, suspension upgrade, and quaifed tranny to even think about it.

I seem to call that there is a bolt on the front of the engine that, if too
short of one is used, you will get an oil leak like you have described.

Waybe this will jog someone's memory who has more specific information.
