At Gingerman earlier this year the Same 4 wheel sliding Tony burned through a 
set of Albany's in his first track session, scooted to the local AZ they 
didn't have direct replacements so then handed over a set of PFC pads, think they 
lost like $30.00 on that deal.

At Road Atlanta last weekend for the 2 day track event, there was a mini-Z06
convention.  One of the locals I hung out with during the weekend and
hitched a ride with, had mentioned the different brands/types of pad he had
run.  Said he had run the PFCM "Z" pads from Autozone for sometime back,
went through a set each weekend track day, took 'em back ala the warranty,
got a new set.  On the 5th or 6th set, for whatever reason the p/n was no
longer invalid so they couldn't exchange them.  Guy then asked if he could
just have his $$ back, and they handed it over.

lol.  5-6 free sets of brakes for track weekends and then refunded his $$
