No, the 6.1L (not 6.6L) 425-hp Hemi will go into the 300C-SRT8.  It will
also have 245/45-20s front and 255/45-20s rear!!!

The 300C only gets the 340-hp 5.7L Hemi with Multi Displacement System
(drops 4 cylinders during highway cruise).

The 300 Limited and the 300 Touring get the 250-hp 3.5L V-6.

The 300 gets the 190-hp 2.7L V-6


The 340-hp 5.7L Hemi with MDS is also optional in the Grand Cherokee Limited
(not the Laredo).

The 6.1L Hemi is rumored in a late 2005/2006 Grand Cherokee SRT.


In other engine news, Jeep finally killed the venerable 195-hp 4.0L
straight-6 (which they mentioned they were going to do a few years ago -
something about the engine block castings getting too old).  The 6-cylinder
option for the Grand Cherokee is now the 210-hp 3.7L V-6 that debuted in the
Liberty.

Also, a 2.8L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel is supposed to be available in the
Liberty later this year.  Jeep already uses this engine in Grand Cherokees
(not Liberty's) they export to Europe.
