I would not suspect the interlock switch....that's an on/off situation.
My first thought is a weak battery or bad terminal connections causing the
clicking.
IIRC, the '93 has the solenoid on the starter, so there is a possibility of
that, also. I'm no familiar with that style, but on the older SHO and Ford
fender-mounted solenoid, there were a work/no work situation.
I have only gotten the clicking with a weak battery or a bad terminal
connection.

Subject: starter or clutch interlock switch?
My 93 is now starting 1 out of 5 attempts or so.
When it cranks, it fires right up. It cranks normally,
not slowly and I really don't suspect the battery.
When it doesn't start, it usually clicks. To me this
sounds like a dying starter although I am not sure I
can rule out the clutch interlock switch. Does that
ever go bad?
Thankfully I found my reciept for my Reman starter. I
think it had a 3 year warranty and 3 years was up last
month. Oh well, Melissa at Pep Boys said that she'd
"take care of me" if I brought it in. I hope that is a
good thing.
