In case anyone is following along with my buildup..

The machine shop mic'ed my 3.2 and found it to be very
worn. I asked about having it bored .5mm extra (I am
such a n00b-real measurements are in thousandths) for
a total of a 92.5mm bore (ie Wiseco forged pistons)
and my guy said that the bore would def clean up and
be usable if I wanted to do that.

However, reality set in-I really don't want to spend
that cash for oversized pistons and I don't think I
want forged pistons in an NA street car.

So, I am having the 1995 3.0 block overbored. I called
FPS and the SHOshop a few times. FPS said that they
overbore them all the time without any problems.
SHOshop said "thank you for calling SHOshop, you have
reached our voicemail."

So, I decided to take my chances. I was thinking of
having the block sonic checked to be 100% sure there
is enough meat there to remove but I think I am
scaring myself into a problem that I know does not
exist.

Does anyone want a well worn 3.2 block to overbore? :)

Ian
