A few thoughts for those of you pulling engines soon on a Gen II since I'm
almost done. If I were to do it again I would leave a few more parts hanging
on the motor. I'd suggest the following:

Radiator - out
Front engine damper - off
Front motor mount - off
Compressor - off engine - hanging in frame - still charged

Water pump & timing covers - on
PS pump - on
PS pulley - off
PS reservoir - off
2 Belt tensioner brackets - off
Balancer - off
Side damper - out
Battery box - out

Intake - off
2 heater hose pipes - use your discretion - or off
coil bracket - off

Trans - in
Both halfshafts - in

Rod shifter - out
Y-pipe - out
halfshaft bearing - unbolted

Hood - straight up - carefully!!
I think that's it

I took a lot more things off and it was really unnecessary work
Note the MTX trans does have to be lifted to clear the clutch, but can stay
bolted in
Helms says remove the pass. halfshaft, but I didn't, you just have to be
careful not to overextend the tri-lobe joint

Lift - It pulls best from the side(!!), not the front, since you have to sway
the motor away from the clutch.
