Actually, I think what you're referring to is getting "short-shrifted",
which is what happens when you deal with the SHO shop... :P

Don't know too much about a 'short shifter', but I do know about the rod
shifter upgrade, which is one thing you'll want to do if you have an '89.
Not sure where you can get one; I have an ATX... sorry for the lack of help,
but I couldn't resist taking a crack at vadim...
