[Shotimes] Question:gas tank straps

Coming home last night I heard a snap and then a dragging sound. looking
under the car I found the drivers side gas tank strap had rusted through
in the rear and was dragging on the ground. I twisted off the rest and
now have a stump hanging from the front but at least not on the ground.
So what am I looking at as a fixit job? How does the front of the strap
detach? Where is the rear bolted up? ( I haven't looked under yet)
Should I get a new part from the dealer or just use a universal kit from
the parts store? Suggestions welcome.
