Hah.  I ran 2 years in NY with my winter beater no front bar and 26mm rear.
Was fun in the snow, since no track days in the winter that's what I used to
keep me on my toes  :)

Was impressed with the cars I drove/rode in at the convention with stiff
front springs (500-550 lb) no front bar, and slightly softer rear springs
(300-400 lb range) with a small or moderate rear bar.  Def the way to go for
a track car, 89 is now going under the same transformation.

And it's about 50 lbs lighter :)
