Pat McGrath had 500 lb fronts and 250 rear IIRC on his 91. I believe he
uses a big rear bar and a small front bar though. This is a heavy car
though.
The other 2 cars I drove/rode were much lighter, one (glen's yellow 89) is
like 2800 lb dry, the other lance cheney's 92 maybe 3100 lb? both had 500
lb fronts, and 350 lb rear. No front bar and small or middle size rear bar.
I didn't think either felt all that bad for the street. But you live in the
NE to, where you need 70 series tires at 15 psi to make the ride good on the
roads :)
IMHO I wouldn't mess with coilovers for a street car. No real advantage and
WAY more hassle :)
