[Shotimes] Rod bearing question

I also replaced my ATX on the 1993 and only did the rear main seal. I didn't
even know about the "carrier" gasket back then. And yes it now leaks. When I
did the wife's tranny I replaced both and zero leaks after 45K miles. Hard
to say that was it but it's VERY suspicious!! Maybe more of a problem on the
ATX .VS. MTX?
