I second the opinion on the AVS dB S2s. Mine haven't worn perceptibly in
about 4,000 miles of really hard driving. I have noticed, however, that they
are starting to make more and more noise in the turns... they make a warbly
sound. Not sure what it means, but they're not losing traction at all so I'm
not too worried about it. They still get awesome traction in the dry and
really good traction in the wet... I have yet to hydroplane through 2.5
hurricanes ;-).
I'd highly recommend them; I have the 245/50/ZR16s on Annabelle. They're
also really, really quiet... quietest tires I've ever ridden on.
