Also possible that Jay struck a deal directly with Ford, and the dealership
just did the wash job.

What Ford dealer wouldn't want to be the guy that sells Jay Leno one of this
new cars, so he can get the press, have pictures of himself & Jay plastered
all over the dealership, etc. 

Selling a car to a major celebrity is free advertising, especially for a
bread-and-butter Ford dealer (as opposed to MB. BMW, etc that see more of
them).
