[Shotimes] opal frost

"Also, you better not ever need a panel repainted, as it will never match" I
can attest to that statement that Ron made. I took my car in for a little
estimating on painting the front bumper cover, painting a CF hood, and
fixing the cancer starting at the gas door. The shop owner said to me rather
than waste the money on thing piecemeal, bring him the whole car this fall
and he and I can work the entire car and paint it from top to bottom, inside
and out, and the engine bay. This way my car will match, the cancer will be
stopped, and the whole car will have every imperfection factory or not
fixed.
He laughed when I asked him if he could somehow just blend something in for
the gasdoor area which kills me to look at.

Uhhhh.....no
Sorry, I have no clue what you are describing, not with a number of other
colors with far lower production numbers, in years with fewer SHOs built.
FWIW, and I know this is a highly personal preference, so I don't want a
"discussion" on it, but I'm in the camp that feels the Opal Frost is not a
pretty color. They always look dirty, whether they are clean or not. Parked
next to a silver frost, it's a very dull-looking paint.
OTOH, it's a great color for someone who nevers waxes their car!!!

I meant that based on the number of Opal Frost SHO's made (according to the
quoted website), if you had a big bag of all of the Gen1/2 SHO's of all
colors and reached in and picked one at random, Opal Frost has the least
probability of being selected.
1,302 Opal Frost SHO's were made in from 1989 to 1995, which is the smallest
number for any single color on that time period.
Make sense?
