No, not a sponsor, a different car!!!!

A Z06 with a serious brake upgrade would be nice, but I think that you would really like a 911, plus you could run wheel-to-wheel PCA events.

Good read! I was talking to a guy in my group last outing there last month
who was testing his 944 (runs in PCA events). We hung out most of the day,
he was suprised at the speed of the 89, I was suprised at his speed for a
stock 150 hp motor.

FWIW my last lap times there ran in the 1:46 range (I think the best I ran
with the stock cams was like high 1:40's). I'm still pretty heavy compared
to what we'd need for say a USTCC car, but I think with the car (or similar
car) lower/stiffer on 8" rims, times could drop (depending on your choice of
tire).

The biggest kick in the groin for the SHO, is when it's warmer, you really
start to abuse the LF tire there if you push hard for many laps. It's just
too much abuse for a car with static 1000 lbs on the front corners (only
~500 on the rear), corking it hard right, and letting the quaife trying to
lay down ~290 chp going up the turn 1 hill. I chunked a V700 with lots of
tread left after a few balls out laps. Have to wonder how you'd do in a
30-40 min sprint there, let alone an enduro. Just put in a fresh LF every
outing I guess.

I need a sponsor :)
