Not only that, but it appears that the tranny mount can be bolted together
and reused. When mine went, I got one from Al Fitz for a few bucks, but I
saved the old one, and considered bolting the two halves together.

Why didn't you save yourself some time and aggrevation by using a known SHO
vendor for the clutch.  Not to mention using one for the tranny mount...
