[Shotimes] hood hinge screw thingy

I have a problem. I can't get the screw that goes into the hood hinge to
thread into the little receptacle thingy. The whole concept seems utterly
rediculous and I am now reduced to driving about with two screws in the hood
on the right side, the two hood support struts, and .5 screws on the left
side (it's in there, but it spins freely and if I pull hard it comes right
out). The left side of the hood flaps up and down a disturbing amount, and
though I'm not worried about it flying off, I do worry about damage. Is
there any way I can get another little screw receptacle thread thingy into
the hood? where would I get those? I need like three of them... ooh, and
some new screws too; I have no idea where the other screw that goes into the
hood left. Al, do you have some maybe? Can I get them new? is it possible to
get new ones in? Do I need a new hood?

God, I hate those things. I wish I could just drive around with it off... it
would help with cooling :P, but the gas mileage might go down a tad :(....
it would certainly look a lot cooler, though!
