Too big of an exhaust WILL reduce torque on many engines.
And we aren't talking scavenging here. So at some point, zero
restriction isn't good.
Maybe the 3" is just perfect, but 300+ HP engines have used smaller size
pipes and gotten better results. That is from experience.
Just wondering if he thought about it.
