[Shotimes] (OT) Rim Protectors, my arse!!

I've had a few tires with these, and the current Bridgestone RE92s are no
exception. Oh, they look like they "might" protect something, but obviously
not!!

Coming back to the hotel from work this morning, I found my few "safe
parking spots" already taken (I got a rather nasty door ding about a week
ago). Being tired & all, I pulled into an end spot, trying to tuck up to the
curb. Tucked up too tight, and grazed it. Didn't sound bad, but going out
and looking at it revealed that the curb tore the "rim protector" rubber
piece, and the rim has a nice 4" long scrape from the curb.

Thinking of cutting off the useless piece of "rim protector" rubber, but it
may throw off the tire balancer.
