[Shotimes] (UPDATE) SHO left me stranded... 50 yards from a Ford dealer

After three weeks of perfect operation, I have run into the same problem
as from before.

Here's today's situation:
After driving 25 or so miles, the car would give a slight buck like it
was trying to stall while traveling over bumpy stretches of road. Then,
at the next traffic light, the car stalled as soon as the car came to a
stop. I rolled the car onto the shoulder and waited with the hood up.
Tried to start the car several times over a span of 10 minutes or so.
Nothing, cranked fine but the engine didn't even think about starting.
Eventually got the car to run and drove home bumping between first and
second (ATX).

Attempts at diagnosis:
-plenty of fuel pressure (generous fountain at the Schrader
valve)
-KOEO codes, no. Did get 511 like always (LPM equipped)
-The car refused to give KOER codes (I think this is a big clue,
CCRM, IAC, or DIS module?)

Questions:
What would cause stumbling over bumpy asphalt?
What might cause the KOER test to fail?

I suppose I'll put a stock MAF on the car and pull the LPM and see what
happens

I've finished working and had the car idling for 10 or so minutes on
jack stands. It looks like the car is at least no worse than it was
before.

I replaced an obviously leaking cam seal and put on a new sensor. The
car fired up quickly on the first twist of the key.

I was able to get the crank bolt off... for $25. I just took the car
down the street to a service station. Little torch action and an impact
wrench.

There is now a new CPS on the car. The water pump did not foul the CPS,
but it was covered in oil from the front main seal. I would have put in
a new seal, but I don't have one. I guess it's on the list for
pre-convention repair. I couldn't believe it, but the sensor was in
stock at a local store!!

As long as the car passes a road test tomorrow morning, I'll be taking
it down to a dynojet facility before lunch. I wonder what kind of
numbers I'll see? The car has the SHO Shop stage two package (Y-pipe,
pullies, LPM, P&P intake, BBB, Dynomax, 80mm Ford MAF).

Well, a little help from a blue-wrench got the harmonic balancer bolt
free.
We will put in a new crank sensor this evening. Then it's going to
http://www.xoticmotorsports.com/ for a dyno run tomorrow morning along
with
my 92.

Heat huh? I'll give it a whirl this afternoon.
It really sucks that this had to happen when I was planning to take the
car to the dyno this weekend. Oh well, it could have been worse.

Thanks for all the help and input, everyone. I'll keep the list up to
date as things happen.

The cam sensor is primarily for setting the timing at startup, but when
mine went it would also do the bucking bit on the highway with a ce
light on. Also, it would sometimes make a very odd noise trying but
failing to start and the tach would act weird. Changing the sensor
cured it.
