Yeah, Last I head gas in Germany was 1,6 euro/Liter...
1,6 euro/Liter*4Liter/Gallon*1.3Dollars/Euro...
Equals $8.32/gallon. yeah, that bad. This is whay eupropeans don't
drive much. It is cheaper and easier to take public transit.
Especially if you factor in insurance rates and vehicle expenses
(higher due to more govment watchdoggin')
Yeah, when I could buy a month-long bus pass for 30 Euro in
freiburg.... Go with public transit. or a bicycle. (They jack the
prices on those too.... Paid approx 300USD for a Wal-mart bike)
Walking is pretty fair on the budget as fuel (food) is in general
cheaper (at least in the region where we lived).
