OK, Don is right. This explains it.

They have complete control over what ads they want displayed on their site.
You should write them and let them know what type of scam they're allowing
to run on their site. Unless of course they just care about money, and in
that case they won't filter it because it lessens their chances of getting
clicks.

Of course a site has choice over whether they show Google ads or not.
And V8SHO.com has never shown any Google ads that I am aware of, yes if
you use their search engine you probably come up with sites that pay for
top placement, and scam stuff like this always does, but that has
nothing to do with the ads on BON that I think they should not run.

BON can just use the basic Google search without all those ads, but BON
is a commercial site that needs to make money, nothing wrong with that,
just that it hurts their credibility when they allow obvious scams like
this.

But to repeat, BON does NOT have to allow Google to place those ads.
Maybe they have a contract for a certain amount of time, but they made a
decision to allow the ads, and they can remove them. Google, unless
they have an ownership interest in BON, doesn't dictate to them or
ANYONE what can be on a web site.

Of course BON is not under my control, so they can do what they want, I
am just personally a bit disappointed that they allow that ad on their
site. They DO have a choice if it runs or not.
