I've had my '90 SHO since I bought it new in November 1990.
Unfortunately when I stopped driving to work and took
a train to NYC, I neglected it. A number of issues are there with the
car, but with someone who knows how to fix SHOs
it would be feasible to restore it. I am not handy, so ultimately the
SHO was something I could not take care of myself
even though I loved the car. I'm in central NJ (Metuchen), so best of
someone local is interested to take a look at the car fully to
see if they are interested. Should have sold this long ago to someone
who would have taken care of it, but I just
couldn't get myself to get rid of it, but have no choice - it is getting
in the way (got a 2003 Accord V6 that i use instead).
Has about 64000 miles on it.

    Problem areas:

Sat since 1999 with weekend driving for a while, then once a
year startup. Changed the oil at least twice since then.

White paint specs on the black paint [from house work by
someone who walked away before I found out] - needs repaint.
            Some rust on trunk lid.

Brake problem - I had master cylinder replaced, but still a
problem w/ brake pressure at the pedal. Unsafe to drive due to
this. [Pumping brakes does work, but in an emergency that can
be a problem]

exhaust needed work (cat-back - dual cats/y-pipe were
replaced already), sitting probably made this more of a problem,
but did manage to pass inspection

Interior has some wear - particularly side bolsters on front
buckets. Mats have some wear too.

Trunk had some leak from water bottle or wiper fluid - may
have rust under the mat - needs to be checked. Seal
          needs replacing for trunk lid.

In-dash Alpine CD unit has a CD of mine stuck in it - works
,but won't eject. Controls 5-disk changer in trunk that is fully working.
Front JBL amp removed for Alpine amp, rear has both ford and
alpine. Still have original ford JBL dash unit
and front amp with all Ford wiring still there intact. [I
want the CD back if possible].

If interested, please email me - can arrange for seeing the car.

Thanks,
Rakesh Patel.
