I am pasting part of a recent conversation that I had
with Todd Cook about replacing wheel bearings (did
mine 2 weekends ago and the vibration is all gone now)

You are in NY, right? If you could wait and don't need
them right away I was going to say that you could ship
them to me and I could take them to my machinst as
long as everything is paid for...

here is the conversation:

"The Timkens are often considered 'premium'
bearingsbut honestly they all have to meet the same
spec. Weused to repack them (yea that's a REAL pain to
getdone) with better grease to prolong them.
Redline,Royal Purple, Mobil 1 etc. However the seals
have tobe removed VERY carefully. The all metal ones
arenearly impossible without damage. One other VERY
important item is how they arepressed in and out. Out
is fairly easy as you can'tdo much damage, unless you
forget the snap ring.Support the knuckle with some
blocks and hope forthe best....sometimes it's a bitch.
And I'm assumingyou are doing hubs as well. You should
be as thepress area will be dinged up as well. Don't
forgetthe studs first. Press the bearing in from the
backside, but then you much SUPPRORT the inner
bearingRACE, not the knuckle when putting in the hub.
Thehub is a press to the BEARING, NOT THE KNUCKKLE.
You can rotate the knuckle in the press when doing it.
After you've done it and correctly it's really notthat
big of a deal."
