The dead guy didn't own it.
 
"The Duesenberg was owned by a Bloomfield Hills resident and had just
recently been restored. There was no word on how much damage was done to the
car, which is valued at over $500,000."
 
The dead guy lived in Superior Township.

He's DOA anyway.  His two girls (7,9) will grow up without parents and

Remember that classics such as these don't have seat belts and it's not
usually the classic car driver that causes the fatalities. We are all too
keen on keeping our cars in the best shape we can, but all it takes is
someone else's stupidity.
