I haven't seen that episode. My favorite so far is the Road Runner. The guy
was speechless and just stood there and cried. His wife had said she had
never seen him cry in all the time she knew him.

Overhaulin' is a great show! What they did to Lance Armstrong's GTO was
awesome!

How about Overhaulin' with Chip Foose? I just added a Season Pass to my Tivo
for that one.

They do engines on occasion. Also brakes, and I suspect that suspensions are
redone, but it makes for boring television.

Sometimes it's just engine trim, other times it will be a completely new
engine and/or drivetrain. Hell, even a new car once.

FWIW, I like the show, mostly what they do to the cars. Some of it is a bit
over-the-top for me (like the one that had small monitors in the fenders in
place of the side marker lights).

This is a custom car show, which appeals to a lot more people than
pistonhead performance cars. What they do is the current fashion for street
customs. They just do it to old cars, unlike Unique Whips that dresses out
high-dollar new rides.

Pimp My Ride, Unique Whips, and American Chopper are my favorites, due to
the colorful personalities involved!

Does PMR do anything at all with the engine, tranny, brakes, etc? Those
were not mentioned or shown. I hope they do but if not, that's just scary.
