Does anyone know where in CA law there is a list of what's okay and what's 
not for mods?  It might be good to see that.
Leaving the legality of a mod to a trooper's road-side judgment is a 
standard too vague, like Montana's brief experiment with a "reasonable and 
prudent" speed limit.  It's an invitation to abuse, and enough litigation 
will defeat it.
If a trooper went through my 92 looking for mods, I'd be screwed.  Thank 
goodness I still live in America.
