When I bought the POS '95 with the questionable history (and only 78K
miles), EVERY one of the vents had busted vanes!! Never had a problem n any
of the other SHOs. Has to be from careless use. Then again, once I set mine,
I rarely change them.

Must be ham-fisted passengers.  My son's 95 has this exact problem.  Time
for a visit to the salvage yard...
