Nope;
My personal opinion is that the Gen II VAPS is one of the worst devices ever
put on a performance car, and I'm gonna do something about it. I understand
the whole VAPS rack is exactly the same part no. as a Lincoln. I believe it.
If I figure out a way to dramtically improve the steering feel, I'll let the
list know.
I suspect it may mean sending a rack to a high performance shop and having
the spool valve replaced. I've done that before and the results were
dramatic. I'm more interested in getting the feel up to the 10 lb range, and
I don't belive stock parts are gonna do it, not even a Gen I rack.
BTW that's twice as stiff as a VAPS rack.
