[Shotimes] (OT) Hankook Icebear W300 tires?

I picked up a set of 235/45/17 Sumitomo HTR + for $86
each from Tirerack. They are sitting in the garage at
the moment. They are either going on my current set of
ASA's or a set of TSW's that I should be getting soon.

A friend of mine has them and likes them. He's
planning on getting the Pirelli P Zero Nero's next but
they are over $50 more per tire. (probably worth it
but I'm trying to stay on a budget).

I tried doing the "summer tire in the winter thing"
and almost died a few times; I'm looking forward to
trying out "performance oriented all seasons" that
should do pretty well in the snow. We had some deep
snow last year and he had no problems with them at
all. He runs them year round unless he's at the track.
They are also pretty good in the dry from what I
understand.

I was thinking of getting the same tires for mom's
Buick Regal but they aren't offered in 225/55/16.
However, the P zero nero's are.

FWIW
