Or get fancy. Fill the two cutouts in the bumper, and bring the exhaust out
the center.....

On my '97 I intend to go to a 3" single next year.  I have a nice 3" 316 SS
cutoff 45 degree tip ready to go.  Some tell me to run a dummy tip due to
the
bumper cutout on both sides.

I notice the Monte Carlos all have the two tip cut out bumper skirt but
seldom
the two tips.
