[Shotimes] The list shrinks and shrinks

I would NOT say that SHO interest is dwindling, just the number of folks on
these mail lists. Lots of folks on the Forums and the number of folks
attending the Conventions has remained pretty constant (and not always the
same people, except a few of us who just keep showing up every year!!).

IMHO, the interest will dwindle in the next 5-10 years, when the cost of
keeping one up with become a lot more expensive. The SHO group will again
move up in average age, much like it was when the cars were sold new.

Whether it means anything to anyone or not...

I know I just don't drive my SHO very much anymore.
Doesn't help that I go to school 4 hours away from it
either. My father still drives her from time to time,
but mostly she just sits. In all honesty, if I can get
time off of work for Christmas, I'm gonna go do some
much needed work on her, then most likely sell her. I
just don't have the time or the $$$ to keep her up and
running like she deserves. For a 200k mile car, she's
in ok shape. Still runs good, looks pretty good, etc.
But she's definetly worn. I'm hoping to get between
$1k and $1.5k for her. I wonder if these reasons are
why the SHO following is slowly dwindling...
