Uh.....that's kinda what makes the SHOTimes list what it is. In fact,
the OT has always given SHOTimes it's flavor. I'm still here, I just
don't really pay too much attention to list banter because I haven't had
a SHO in a couple years. I'm kind of hoping for the "I'm selling my SHO
for $500" post to roll by, or maybe I've already missed it. I'd like to
get back into the SHO game. There's just something magical about the
SHO that you don't find with any other vehicle.
None the less, I take exception and insult to suggesting that the reason
the list has shrunken is due to OT. Don't whine about off-topic
discussions, it just contirbutes to MORE OT discussions. This has been
PROVEN in the past, just go look in the archives. If you want to
discuss things that are implicitly SHO related, go to the Forums.....oh
wait, they have more OT in a week than this list has all year....because
they're forums and any idiot who can web surf can post there....
I just looked at my archive, and about 5% of what's came over the list
in the past year is OT. So don't whine and point fingers about stuff
like this. You want boring hardcore tech, go to TechSHO......oh wait,
they have a bit of OT too because there are REAL people on that list,
just like THIS list, that do more than JUST work on SHOs. Anyway.
nearly all the OT is from regular list contributers, so if the people
that post the OT left, you wouldn't have ANYONE to ask for help.
