Hi everyone! FSHOC (Florida SHO Club) is hosting a road course day at
Gainesville Raceway in February. We would love for anyone in the southeast
to attend, I've even had a couple of people attending the track event in
Texas the weekend prior express interest in coming out to Florida for our
track day!
Here are the details:
*SUNDAY, February 12, 2006.
*Location is Gainesville Raceway, in Gainesville, FL.
*Information specifically about the track:
http://www.gainesvilleraceway.com/a...=1912&zoneid=69
*There are only 20 spots available at this time and will be filling up FAST!
*Price is $120 per driver/car for everyone and must be pre-paid in full to
secure your spot. Be absolutely sure that you can attend because your $ is
non-refundable unless something happens where we cannot hold the event that
day.
*Cost includes free lunch.
*You can pay via paypal to Chris (Superchargedshoguy on the forum):
bigjeeper99@juno.com , or email me or Chris for a mailing address.
*All standard rules will apply. Your car WILL be inspected. Make sure you
have no leaking fluids, no tire or brake problems. HELMETS and long pants
(possibly long sleeve shirts) will also be REQUIRED. *Helmets are NOT
available at the track. I suggest ebay or even Walmart for a decently priced
helmet if you do not already own one.
*There will be three classes: Novice, Intermmediate, and Advanced. Don't
worry if you have never done a road course before!
*Swap meet to be held at the track. Automotive, electronics, ect...clean out
the garage and make a few bucks!
I encourage everyone that lives in the southeast that is even thinking about
Memphis to attend if you haven't done a road course event before. This is a
great price and you will get to know your car in a whole different way
before the convention this summer.

Please pass the word along to non-SHO owners as well! Anyone is welcome.
Please reply to me if you need any more information. I will be adding
lodging information and directions to the thread on SHOforum.com soon. Hope
to see you there!
