Yep, that's the '55 Buick with the big-block Chevy engine, 600 HP or so.

Very nice ride!! He has owned it since he was young.

Jay is my hero!! I watch him virtually every night, as he does exactly what
I would do if I had his $$$$!!

He was also born about three weeks before I was, and we are both Tauri!!

He was in a movie sometime in the late 70's or early 80's. I can't remember
the name, but it was something about after a nuclear war or something and
people lived in their cars because all the homes were destroyed. He was
only in it for a few seconds, probably uncredited, but he was living in his
big Buick. It's ironic because he actually lived in that car while he was
coming up through the clubs. He still has that car today. I can't IMDB it
because it's blocked here at work, but it was supposed to be a comedy of
sorts, not a grim horror story like it sounds.

He's been a stand-up comic for 30 years. He was already "famous" when I saw
him in a comedy club around '80-'81.

I thought Jay was a Mercedes mechanic before the show?
