I don't have a friend who is powdercoating for me but
the guy who does it is very reasonable. To be honest
it didn't really cost much extra to throw in brackets
and other misc small parts while they were PC'ing
larger parts.
For an NA SHO, this engine really has everything
except for forged pistons and oversized valves. Not
much else that I can get.
I really dig the chrome subframe. It makes working on
the car so much easier as a ton of ambient light is
now reflected where it used to be really dark and
shadowy with worklights.
I pulled a 3.0 from a junkyard in the snow once. I
know that I've mentioned that before. In fact, that
engine's crank and heads are now part of my 3.2. I
guess that it's fitting that I'll be putting them back
to work in the snow. =)
