But you are not in competition. To putter around a track the way that we do
at our events is like a Sunday drive compared to being in competitive events
where you are out to win. I believe that we all know that there are no track
tires that are only $300/set (well, maybe on a 2-wheel car!!). To get tires
to get that last little bit to give you an edge means that they will be (1)
expensive and (2) will not last.

Reasonable.  BS..  My Victor Racers cost $700 delivered.  Now what kind of
expenses are reasonable for a day at the track..  I guess I should start
saving up for my GT 40....

BTW  I have 4 track days on them and at least three more.
