I ordered online. The store closest to me is not convenient, nor in a nice
neighborhood, plus they only had 1-year & Lifetime warranty alternators in
the store (I took my core back there, rather than mail it back).

Prices have gone up since then--the cheapest one from Advance now is $162.99
(1 year warrantee). No Advance Auto Parts here on the left coast anyway.
