Oh, don't get me wrong, I love the styling of the car... I can't get
enough of it. It's the mechanical problems (suspension, fuel pump,
transmission) that drive me nuts. Everything other than the engine has
broken on my car at least once. I'm on my third pair of front sway bar
end links in a year... but hey, that's ok, I know a hell of a lot more
about fixing cars now :), and that's why I recommend everybody gets a
Ford as their first car lol, it'll teach 'em how to wrench!

Former Porsche boss: There's no 'right price' for a car

Once I changed my expectations of the car, I started
to view it more positively. To be honest, most of my
problems have been with the engine itself and not the
car. The gen2 styling isn't so bad 12+ years later.
It's a car that I can look at and not wince.
