As for the trimmed question, I had to cut 1" off of each bar to allow them
to adjust properly. Rumor has it that it depends on which part # GM bar you
get as to how much needs to be trimmed.

1.  F*** the brake bias valve!!
2.  No, it doesn't matter with those arms
3.  Get the bias valve plugs. IMHO they are one of the best SHO brakes that
you can do.

   So, I've been considering switching to GM rear arms for a while.  I know
I'll need the reducer sleeve and washer kit, and I've seen the disucssion on
washer placement.  My only question at this time comes from MidwestSHO's
website.  They have arms that are "already trimmed."
   I guess I missed it somewhere, but what, exactly, needs to be trimmed on
the GTP arms?
   Also, has anyone adapted the brake bias valve to work with these arms?
