No, that's EXACTLY what I'm saying. That is the reality of today's car
business....and it's EXACTLY why the US car mfrs are in deep poopy.

Based on what you reply here, you are saying that manufacturers of cars 
should never consider what the car costs to build when they build it, 
they should just build a car and price it to sell, and never look at 
what it costs?

I am positive that is NOT what you are saying, but it sure seems like 
it.
