Hi Jonathon,

Are you certain it's engine oil? My powersteering pump developed a leak and it's located on the right front side of the engine as well......

If it was the front crank seal, you should see the oil dripping from the base of the lower timing belt cover.

Not sure what else it could be.

  Greetings,
Well, it's been about six weeks since I stopped using the SHO as my daily
driver. I've been taking it out once a week or so. Last night while I was
cleaning out the garage I let it idle in the driveway and it left me a little
surprise when I moved it. In about twenty minutes of idling it left about a
four inch circle of oil on the ground. Now, before I parked it, it hadn't
leaked oil in three years since I replaced the main seal on the crank. It was
dark and cold, so I only did a little investigation, but it seems to be coming
from the front of the engine on the right side. In other words, from
somewhere around the cam sensor, but lower. It's dropping onto the front
cylinder bank's cat, which is giving off a nice odor and cloud. Does anyone
have any ideas on where to start looking?
Thanks and Merry Christmas to everyone!
JB
