My experience is a little different than what the others are saying. Start
off with that I have the 13" rotors and Cobra(PBR) calipers on the front
with Hawk HPS+ pads. On the rear I have the 11.6" upgrade with standard
autozone metallic pads. With the bias plugs installed, the rears locked up
way too easily, evoking the ABS while the fronts were not braking as hard as
they could. ABS disabled(by unplugging abs computer) and the rears will
lock up immediately, kicking the car sideways. Completely unsafe. I
re-installed my stock bias valve's and left them in the "out" position with
no arm hooked up, which is the reduced flow, and now the braking seems
perfect when I nail the brakes. With the ABS disabled the car will lock up
all four wheels equally. I think though that each experience will be
different based on rotors/pads and how well they are bedded in, new rotors,
etc. I drive my 95 very hard, mostly autocrossing it with occasional street
use. For suspension it has Koni/Intrax(front cut one coil), TPR bushings,
BMR rear control arms, H-Brace, rear knuckle braces, 24/26 swaybars, strut
tower braces, subframe connectors, aluminum subframe mounts.

Okay, from MidwestSHO:
"We only condone the use of these plugs on vehicles with fully functional
ABS systems."
What about us '89 guys? Since I'd be getting full braking in the rear,
won't I end up locking the rears rather easily?
I'd think that, for us non-ABS folks, an adjustable proportioning valve
in place of the factory load valve would be better, as I'd be able to dial
in the right balance. Am I wrong here?
