That's the key issue.....it "does what it does" very well, from what I
gather.

As I mentioned, I'm not a "truck" person, but "truck people" also tick me
off when they knock folks who don't use a truck for anything but hauling a
6,000#s of bass boat and trailer off-road. There are a LOT of reasons for
wanting/needing a truck, and not everyone needs the ability to go
rock-crawling while hauling a heavy trailer.

If a truck (of any sort) floats your boat....buy it. It's nobody's business
want you want/need it for. From a purely practical standpoint, any kind of
truck or SUV makes more sense than a kind of performance car.

I don't know about other states, but Michigan duels with California
year-to-year as to who has the greatest number of boat registrations, and
yesterdays paper stated that there are 400,000 registered snowmobiles in
Michigan, and 250,000 of them have paid for the ORV trail sticker. This
doesn't count the number of jetskis or towable RV trailers. Nor the number
of utility trailers like the one that I tow for our Internet dish. Nor the
number of work trailers like my b-in-law tows to work sites.

Bottom line is that the Ridgeline "works for a lot of people plus it has
Honda's quality and reputation behind it. What's the problem??

My g/f's sister's fiance has a Ridgeline and likes it
a lot. I haven't been inside it but I've heard that
the fit and finish is pretty nice.

I have read good things about them. It's not something
I want to drive but it looks solid for what it is.
