My '94 is back on the road and running like a SHO again! Thank you to the list members that helped me with the proceedure. FPS was great to work with too (bought valve tools and parts from FPS). 

Background: 
'94 MTX purchased w/58k 14 months ago.

Summary:
Valve lash was within spec for all valves.
E-mailed digital photo of a shim to FPS to verify condition.
Found 3 of the 6 plugs swimming in oil.
Flipped all shims.
Cleaned intake.
New plugs.
Siliconed plug well seals.
New thermostat.
New timing belt.
New accessory belts.
New fuel filter.
