I can basically second James' opinion. My bro-in-law had a Jasper horror
experience with a 350 Chevy for a pickup truck. That happened several years
ago. Maybe Jasper has a better track record these days.

Jasper remanufactured engine, I had a 2.5L Chrysler 4 cylinder engine from
them and by the end of the warranty it blew a head gasket and was replaced
by Jasper. The replacement did NOT come with any warranty! Also, being that
the SHO engine is MUCH more complex than the OHC 4 popper I had, I would
seriously doubt it would make it through the warranty without the need for
replacement like what I experienced. Just my $.02 but I myself would not
even consider it an option if the same situation were to arise with mine.
