[Shotimes] Quirk, or "feature"?

At the risk of sounding argumentative, my white 93 MTX DOES have a seat
switch (and it is jumpered out right now)

An MTX does not have a seat switch, and IFIRC only the driver seat had it
on an auto. The plug was there in the carpet under the seat on my 89 though,
and putting a jumper wire on it let the autolock work.
If it was turned "on" at the keypad, that is.
